A few years ago when I took basic photo in high school my teacher had mentioned and showed us a device that was made to work in film cameras but took digital photos. It looked similar to a film canister with maybe 2 inches of film extended and was completely rigid. I can't for the life of me remember what it was called and I can't find anything like it online. Anyone able to help?
I'd go back and ask the teacher but he retired a few years ago so I'm out of luck with him.
Also, how much would one go for? I'm getting a new film camera but would like a little freedom of digital still.

I was an idiot tuesday morning. took a blind swing as i was waking up, killed a window...and it bit my hand. 24 stitches later...here i am. 2 big slices in my index finger, one in my middle and a a very large chunk/flap of my hand. I did a hell of a number on myself but I'll be fine.

So it's been 2 months since I've updated this journal (oops!)
I've been to a few more concerts, (shiny toy guns was AMAZING)

Yesterday I played in a Guitar Hero 2 competition with my brother at a music store ltcds.com
I'm not sure how I pulled it off but I won the hard division!
and if I ever have to play Free Bird again I'm killing someone.

So now I have an electric guitar, a tuner, an autographed All That Remains poster, a $75 gift certificate to the store and a few new shirts.

I suck at being a photographer lately. I kinda ran out of inspiration or something. lame.

I suck at responding to comments too. I've got a few from march that still need to be responded to. No worries, I'll get to them.

"new" dA makes it hard to notice your page hits. I just realized I missed my 8000th awhile ago.

I've got a big meeting with some people at the school's administration building tomorrow at noon. With some luck they'll accept me back into the schools and I can return to classes in September. I'd like to actually graduate instead of settle for a damn GED cause they screwed me over while I was recovering from operations. It's bad enough I'm 2 years behind. I should graduate next month but I've missed the last 2 years. ugh.

So what's new with all of you?

It's my 18th birthday in less than a hour. Ah!

Anyone wanna send me some best buy cards? hehe. I could use a new camera...or a Wii, or a 360...camera first. lol.

I'm starting to plan to do some shoots with my girlfriend, Lizzy, once it starts getting warm out. She's so beautiful, I'm sure they'll come out great. They may come sooner than I think sice today was nearly 80 degrees out.

Taste of Chaos was fantastic by the way. My seats/camera weren't good enough to get any pictures worthy of posting but it was a great show.

I'm going to the Jagermeister Tour on the 6th and the tickets are GA so I've got a good chance of amazing shots. Shadows Fall, Lacuna Coil and Stone Sour. F'n PWN!! I'll update on that when I can.

I have a few shots from the other day I may post. It was nice so I just went for a walk and shot what I liked.
